In April 2019, I attended SPIE Optics + Optoelectonics in Prague and presented the paper titled "Supercontinuum enhancement using Bragg solitons on a CMOS-compatible chip". Paper can be found here . This study builds on my work in collaboration with University of Sydney on Bragg soliton propagation in ultra-silicon-rich nitride platfrom, and proposes the application of the integtated Bragg gratings to enhance the spectral broadening of generated supercontinuum.
This work received the Best Student Paper Award under the topic Nonlinear Optics and Applications!
I had the chance to visit Hong Kong for CLEO PR on August 2018 where I presented two papers; an oral presentation and a post-deadline paper.
In September 2017, I attended Frontiers in Optics (FiO) in Washington DC, where I presented the following papers;
You can access the full texts through links. The first one was an oral presentation, whereas the second one was a poster presentation accompanied by a rapid-fire oral. Rapid-fire oral presentations are given by selected the poster presenters, it is a 5 minute presentation at the exhibition hall.
I am grateful to the Incubic/Milton Chang Travel Grant that I received for my participation in FiO.
